Q: I posted a new listing, but didn't receive my confirmation email.

A: When you post a new listing without creating an account first, you should receive a confirmation email from us with the subject: "Activate Your Listing". In that email, there is a link that brings you back to the site so you can then activate your listing. You will also want to keep that email as you will need it to be able to manage your listing. A few common reasons you haven't received the confirmation email are:

  1. The email might be in your junk-mail folder.
  2. The email is sent to the email address you provided as your "Confirmation Email" when you filled out the listing form.
  3. The email address you provided as your "Confirmation Email" is a yahoo, hotmail, or other free email address. These email providers sometimes take an extra long time to get the outgoing emails.
  4. We had a problem sending you your confirmation email on our end.
A special note: You can at any time contact us and we can activate your listing for you.

Q: Does it cost anything to post a listing?

A: No. All listings are totally free, so hop to it young grasshopper!

Q: How can I add my business to your WhereToFind directory?

A: If you want to add your business to our WhereToFind directory, please contact us and we can help you get set up.

Q: How long will my listing remain on the site?

A: Different listing types will remain on the site for different lengths of time. Most listings will remain the site for 30 days. Here is a list of listing types and how long each will remain on the site:

  • Events listings:
    Will remain on the site until the event has passed, unless you have specified that the event is recurring, at which point the event date will automatically update itself and will remain on the site until the date you specify that the recurring should stop.
  • WhereToFind directory listings:
    Will never expire unless you request for it to be deleted.
  • All other listings:
    Will remain on the site for 30 days or until you delete the listing.

Q: Will you ever provide my personal information like my email address to anybody else?

A: Absolutely not. All of your personal information such as your email address is kept in strict confidence and will never be shared with any outside party. We do collect certain information such as your IP address, operating system, and browser that we use internally to help keep track of activity (such as the number of visitors) and also to help improve our functionality.
